KOZA-KZG-LWR620-2080 Laser Welding Robot
A six-axis industrial laser welding workstation for continuous shop-floor welding. The arm has a 2.08 m reach, 10/15 kg wrist payload and ±0.05 mm repeatability. KOZA integrates a dedicated laser welding process package so laser power and weld parameters can be set precisely on the teach pendant, with optional remote start scheduling.
System configuration
- Robot arm: KOZA six-axis industrial robot, reach 2080 mm, payload 10/15 kg, repeatability ±0.05 mm.
- Control system: KOZA GRC integrated drive cabinet with bus-based 10-axis coordinated control; handheld teach pendant with KOZA laser welding process package.
- Laser seam finding / tracking: KOZA laser seam-finding system (model KOZA-QT260T), deeply linked with the controller for intelligent seam location, real-time deviation detection and automatic path correction.
- Laser source: Single-mode continuous-wave fiber laser, water-cooled, max welding output 3000 W.
- Laser welding head: Robot laser welding head, max 3000 W, dual oscillation, water-cooled; multiple spot shapes, spot size adjustable 0.2–5.0 mm; anti-collision sensor with ±0.1 mm reset accuracy after collision.
- Wire feeder: Single-pull automatic wire feeder with touchscreen control, torch-front mount; includes motor, conduit, tip and spool stand.
- Other: Matching 3000 W laser chiller, integrated cabinet and robot pedestal.
- Positioner coordination (optional): Dual-axis positioner coordination for 6-axis robot + 2-axis positioner (8-axis coordinated motion).

Application notes (summary)
- Weld zone must be clean—free of oil, rust, scale, paint or coatings that disturb laser reflection.
- Butt-joint gap ≤ 0.2 mm; fillet root gap kept reasonable with continuous, sharp seam edges.
- Fixtures must hold assembly accuracy; thermal distortion should be controlled.
- Prefer straight, arc or gentle-curve paths; complex 3D curves, multi-pass welds or line-of-sight obstruction need on-site evaluation.
